Studio Brief 2: Sketchbook Development

Sketchbook and Visual Representation of Subject

I have been finding the task of visually communicating my findings, understanding and opinions quite difficult. I am discovering that my visual responses are quite generic and common in their aesthetic, and no real ideas have jumped out of me as of yet in terms of my visual digram to be completed in the near future. I would like to communicate a tone of voice in my work, which adds some humour, shock value or satire to boldly communicate my subject, however I am unsure of how to do this having not had much experience in doing so in the past.

I will have to keep drawing and hope the ideas follow.

Time management

I have recently been having a little freak out, due to the pressures of uni and the multiple modules we have running at the same time. Because of this, I have taken it upon myself to become organised, with my home study walls now taken up with weekly and monthly calendars, and a list of all of the individual pieces of work I have to complete for each module including Context of Practice.

I am hoping this will help me to become less stressed at the idea of the approaching deadlines, and help me to dedicate the right amount of time to each module and the workload within it. Structuring my time in this way, means that despite the ida of everything all at once being extremely daunting, I know what I have left to complete and will not miss anything, checking off one thing at a time as I go along.
